The-Truth-About-Sugar-in-Fruit-with-Susan-Bowerman
I recently wrote an article on seven foods with high amounts of sugar. My hope was to bring awareness to some of the small, unhealthy food choices that many people aren’t even aware they’re making.

Then, I came across an article by Susan Bowerman at DiscoverGoodNutrition.com about sugar in fruit. Some people avoid fruit because they think it’s loaded with sugar. But Susan clarifies that not all sugars are equal and details why eating an apple is vastly different than drinking a soda. The key, she explains, is the form of carbohydrate.

What did you think of the article? How do you avoid the “empty calories” from foods with added sugar? Leave me a comment and let me know your reaction. You might also be interested in my article, “7 of the Worst Foods for Heart Health.”
