I recently wrote an article on seven foods with high amounts of sugar. My hope was to bring awareness to some of the small, unhealthy food choices that many people aren’t even aware they’re making.

Then, I came across an article by Susan Bowerman at about sugar in fruit. Some people avoid fruit because they think it’s loaded with sugar. But Susan clarifies that not all sugars are equal and details why eating an apple is vastly different than drinking a soda. The key, she explains, is the form of carbohydrate.
